Wow, talk about things coming full circle! "Night Stalker" was one of CC's main inspirations for XF, now XF has inspired a new version of NS!
It still say -- and I know the noromos and, perhaps even some of the fencesitters, will disagree with me on this -- that XF owed as much, if not more, of its mainstream appeal to the UST between M&S as it did to its "spooky" nature. In *that* sense, "NUMB3RS" with its male-and-female FBI agents pairing seems the most natural successor to XF. But time will tell.
