Another great ep. I liked how, during most of it, they were looking for a villian who might not even exist, since they weren't sure if the virus had been deliberately released or simply "popped up" after a long dormancy.
My favorite part was where Don and Charlie were trying to persuade their Dad not to go downtown without telling him why. It was great when Dad finally said, "Is there something you want to tell me, but can't tell me?" and they both eagerly said "yeah." And then at the end, when Dad decided to go bowling since his sons had been so eager for him to do so!
I felt kind of sorry for Don, though. He's always had to deal with the fact that Charlie is smarter than he is, but he was obviously stung by the fact that they have the same security clearance and that Charlie hadn't confided in him that he was consulting with the NSA as well as the FBI.
On the other hand, Don still has his potential female love interest, while Charlie's has apparently moved back to India! I *really* wish they'd have Amita on the show more. Not only does she provide a possible romance for Charlie, she also -- and I don't mean to sound disgustingly politcally correct about this -- provides this show (and TV in general) with some much-needed racial diversity. I'm sure there are plenty of people in 21st century California who are Asian-American, Hispanic, etc. and it would be nice to see some of them on "NUMB3RS".
