's message, "*copper stallion trots in with Halo. He had raided her from the Dark, and the week was now up. He tosses his head, and nuzzles her lovingly*" on 08:56:56 01/24/02 Thu
At Soul's nuzzle, she turns her head to touch her velvet muzzle to his silken hide, the smile still present on her lips.
What of Malaak, though? For a moment, her heart skips a beat, fearing her daughter had befallen the same fate as she had. Throat tenses and muscles stiffen, until she cannot even cry out her name, though if she could, her voice would certainly mirror her deep fears. When MF speaks, though, she allows it to soak in, then takes a deep breath. The fear does not leave, but only lessens. Her eyes follow him as he leaves, her eyes portraying her question of Malaak's location, only to be quelled once she was once more safely within eyesight. Only then would the pained panic leave the deepest reaches of her eyes...
Mare, standing beside chestnut stallion as a second copper form leaves, catches sight of yet another of a similar hue. Her face instinctivly turns to view him in the full, though her eyes show no light of recognition at first, simply because her mind is still distorted by her fears after her time in the wretched lands, surrounded by the most cruel of creatures. It only takes a moment, though, until she seems to take a second glance, and the memories quickly and easily fall into place. How could she have forgotten him? He had been her crush, in a sense, but she had long given up hope in gaining his interest when she met Soul. No, she regretted nothing about the past, for she was content with her life, and was glad to have him as a friend once more. Her smile once more gains a depth, as it had when she first entered and nuzzled Soul, and for the first time since her return she speaks. "Mystical Star? Why, it's been so long! It's...good to see you once again. It does appear that time has been good to you as well, and I do hope it is no mirage. I hope time has treated you quite well."
Her voice is a little hushed, for she was weary; her time with the Darks was a nonstop battle, mostly a battle of her own will so that she did not let them conquer her spirit. Her voice, though, still portrays her happiness...in being home, in being with Soul once more, and in finding a long-lost and dear friend...
