"I suppose so." He watches the colts playing, then turns back to Illusion. "Thank you for watching out for him. And thank Windswept for me too. Perhaps I should have paid more attention to him." He shakes his head, and whickers quietly to Blue Gold. "I'll be back in a while. I need to be alone." He moves away, trotting through the valley. He quickens his pace to a slow canter, then after only a few seconds, into a ground-pounding gallop, his anger at himself being released. No one could know how frightened he was when his son disappeared. Not even Blue Gold. He had to get away.
