He drops his head, then continues. "I felt it was my fault. That I should have watched closer, that I was not being the father that I should. I was relieved when Illusion returned with him, but he should not have been the one to watch over Freedom. I should have been there for him. He is my son, not Illusion's. I am grateful to Illusion, but angry at myself. What if something would have happened? I would not have been able to stand it." Raising his head, he glances across the valley, and nods.
