She sighs, looking her in the eye, "Each of our lives here on Earth is limited, though wonderous. At some point in our lives, our time runs up, and we must pass on into the spiritual realm to join all the others who've passed." She glances of the directions of the Caves, more quietly continuing, "I fear that perhaps your father's time is drawing nearer..." She looks back at Blue Gold, stepping forward to lay her muzzle upon her side to comfort her, wishing she could shelter her from all of life's pains but knowing in her heart that it is not possible.
