In reply to: Halo 's message, "She steps sideways to Blue Gold's side, not taking her eyes off the fallen mare before she reaches the filly's side. Once her side brushes the Blue Gold's side, she turns to her, pressing her own quivering muzzle upon the side of her neck, "Shhh... It's a tragedy, yes, that the attack was fatal. But I just want to clarify that it is by no means your fault, nor hers... Sometimes nature must take its course, and we must all step back and watch..." She pivots her hindquaters slightly, her midnight tail drifting behind her step, so that she's at an angle enough to rest her head over the filly's shoulder. The ends of her flowing mane trickle over the filly's golden shoulder as she says softly, "I simply wanted to make sure you weren't blaming yourself..."" on 17:29:34 07/11/01 Wed

"I am blaming myself in a way. I know it is coinsidence, but that doesn't help my memory. I try though to shrug things like that from my mind. I just don't know..."

The intelligent filly's gaze shifts away from the herd and towards the new mare.

She steps back, bringing her head back to her own side of the filly, and looks her straight in the eye. She nods slowly, "It is all that can be expected of you, for now... But I just wanted to assure you that it wasn't your fault, though it is something only you can determine for yourself once and for all." She looks back to what everyone else is doing, falling silent once more. She notices the new mare and greets her, but looks a bit perplexed when she leaves as abruptly as she'd entered. She drops her head a bit, blowing softly, and clearing her thoughts to the rather-blank and helpless stare upon the situation before them. (NT)Halo21:59:55 07/12/01 Thu
