She turns her sweat-drenched body partially, her eyes patiently awaiting...
Seconds later, the newborn steps out behind her, legs still unsteady. Her stomach was bloated from already recieving Halo's warm, nurioushing milk. Out in the openness of the valley, however, she halts, tiny head thrown up, and eyes wide with both wonderment and fear. She lets forth a powerful cry, strengthened by her fear of this new world, refusing to budge.
She steps forward to nuzzle the filly gently, "It's alright, my little Malaak. There is nothing to fear... We're just going to go visit your sisters, and your wonderful father..." She whuffles her warm breath upon the filly's back and sides as she talks, taking great care to watch over her.
As the comforting words and warm breath envelope her, her immediate fear is ebbed. Slowly, cautiously, and on legs still unsteady, she begins to follow her dam, though pressed onto her side for comfort and for protection from all that was new to her...
