I think Tik Tok, or whatever it is, is social media.

Next time I need a plumber or an electrician I'll just call you, since you seem to know a lot about how to do other people's jobs.

Seems to me every kid attending Georgetown, BC, Marquette or any of the other selective, highly-ranked Jesuit schools cares very much about a top-shelf Catholic education.

"Tik Tok, or whatever it is". Good Lord. Of course it's social media! Duh! I didn't say that. I said where is Canisius' TikTok presence? It's not if kids use social media to communicate as your article "reveals". HOW is Canisius using social media to promote Jesuit ideals to current and potential students? And if they are, is it working?

Every kid. Every single kid at these 3+ schools "care very deeply about a top-shelf Catholic education" huh? So the Jewisk kids, the Muslim kids, the Hindus, etc. all care about a top-shelf Catholic education. I never realized that.

If they didn't care about receiving a top-shelf education from a university that clearly emphasizes their Jesuit values and tradition, then why did they even apply, much less pay big money to enroll?

Oh, they went for the parties, right?

OMG! A top shelf education yes but very few if any give a shit about a top shelf "Jesuit" education. What do you not get? Are you in touch with today's reality? Do you know how many kids care about Jesuit values and traditions? How freakin' old are you man? Pay big money and enroll to go to a good school. None of that decision making has anything to do with "Jesuit values and traditions".

Catholic parochial schools are failing at an alarming rate. The Catholic church is involved in more scandals than anyone can keep track of and is a total embarrassment. Granted, a school that is based in Catholicism doesn't have much choice, but why would you want that to be your focus in recruiting students? Maybe make it more about what you can offer educationally than a blind religious attachment to a fledgling church that fewer and fewer people buy into anymore.

In short, Canisius did SIGNIFICANT market research as part of the new logo, transition to university, etc.

I don't want to spoil the "secret sauce," but the enrollment management team has figured out a better way to demonstrate Jesuit values and identity.

Headcount is trending level, but net tuition revenue is up, AND it looks like we'll see a small bump of students from Medaille transferring.
