I have no idea but I wouldn’t build a parking ramp if I was Canisius University because we don’t know what the future holds when it comes to automobile travel with all the electric cars coming. We could see a shrinking of the number of automobile people own because of the potential cost of electric cars technology unless it comes down in price significantly. To me this is like VHS and Betamax in the 1970’s we will have to see how that plays out future automobile production and sales before even considering parking ramps. Plus with the future expansion of the NFTA metro subway if I was in charge which I am not. I don’t build a parking deck because of the unknown with how that is going to roll out and become accessible to working class people for Canisius University. Plus we don’t know how future generations of Canisius University students are going to be taught. Is it online and Canisius University is a hub of technology to log into for the Canisius University students? We shouldn’t look at it in today’s environment because a lot of the learning may not be brick and mortar Canisius University experience the way we were educated.

Again I don’t know don’t come at me with insult’s because I have no idea just trying to look into the future. Maybe KAC is fine size wise if you look at it as stadium and arenas are becoming production studios to stream the Griffs basketball games and Buffalo Bills games to us alums and fans. But Canisius University is going to have to continue to upgrade technology and that is expensive. That is why I am really into remaking the floor designed Buffalo centric so people potentially around the world can see and know where Canisius University is from with our branding it’s very important in my opinion. Go Griffs! Let’s Go Buffalo

At one point Buffalo was a top 20 due to industrialization. We had La significant population which afforded us pro teams like the Bills, Sabres & Braves. This population served us until the mid 70’s and as a result the Little 3 ticket was coveted. Unfortunately those days are gone. Buffalo is longer the bell of dance nor is Canisius. Higher education has changed due to COVID. Canisius can only survive if they look to merge with others and also step up their academic game. Stop accepting everyone giving out scholarships this hasn’t worked. Make the school a destination due to your academic offerings. We don’t need Buffalo in our marketing campaign. Spend more time building a campus environment & engage alums & students through sports such as basketball & hockey. Go Griffs!

Canisius has the lowest discount rate of the "Little Three," and the highest incoming student GPA of that group too.

They're definitely not "accepting everyone and giving out scholarships."

As for the mergers, Canisius, if they choose to merge, will be in a position of strength.

It's not easy. It's not easy for any local school, even that heavily subsidized behemoth state school down the street, but Canisius is turning a corner.

They have space which we desperately need. Wish we could have absorbed them vs. taking on debt.

You are right. Canisius is moving forward with new leadership that will allow us to succeed in a challenging time. Others will not. And success for our athletic teams will follow. We need to have faith.
