Subject: A Word To The Wise:

Go to the Canisius University-Buffalo,NY site (not the sponsored one. the one right below it). That will get you to the CU site with some links at the top which includes "news". Click on that and you'll get the August 7 story about the Student Success Center currently under construction and named for B.Thomas Colissano. If our incoming Freshmen, MBB and WBB, haven't been made aware of this place, they should stick around for their four years, like student athletes used to do. Go there Griffs ASAP.

Your comments are consistently naive and out of touch with current college students. Do you really think that an 18 year old athlete gives two shi*s about the Golisano Center when they can get $30,000 a year in NIL at Canisius and then potentially much much more at their next school?

Very, very few athletes at CU are getting $30k a year.

Men's basketball players comprise a very small portion of the total number of student/athletes at CU. So yes, I think almost all CU athletes would care about the Golisano Center.

And you, apparent youngster, are an embarrassment to CU,IMO. BG is well aware of the state of mid-major college/university athletics today. But gives credit to our recruits as STUDENT ATHLETES . On the MBB/WBB side BG gives them credit for valuing earning a degree from a recognized Jesuit university, especially while receiving an NIL of $25K-$30K a year and an athletics scholarship. Next step grad school or a good job for many of them, professional athletic careers for only a relative few. Dude.
