Hey, every body knows Lanier isn't coming to Canisius, he passed away several years ago. BG hasn't heard anyone whining. But we can still dream of Canisius University growing and its MBB (and WBB) programs with Her, note back in the day BG was writing about there wasn't any WBB at CC. Who's "bitching" these days? Why only the other day BG went to the KAC game and wrote about Jim's efforts to build the MBB program with the help of the young guys presently in the Sophomore and Freshman classes along with a very good recruit already committed to Canisius University. There must be better ways of all of us and Buffalo to come along in growing CU than using stuff like, " getting back into reality", "whining" , " bitching", and "doing something to help". You yourself are are using an approach here that will turn them off ASAP. "Old Cheapskates". Who are you talking about? What's your lowest age for "old"?

Excuse me but I couldn’t stand all the whining and complaining after our first game. My simple point is let’s do something to support the team.instead of just complaining about the team. Let’s get behind them the crybabies will just continue to complain . I do wish the admin would do more to promote Basketball and create more awareness. We don’t even have an internet radio broadcast anymore. Weak! I miss the pregame and postgame info.

That's the idea.We need to do some rebuilding or just building. BG, and others, believe that's President Steve's vision for CU and the sports programs. Here's an idea, how about moving the Student Section to mid-court opposite the season tickets purchasers? But the Students need to show up. At least should CU try that for a couple of the games this season? Yes, those Saturday Nights at the AUD redux in miniature.

For some reason Canisius thought it was ok,not to be on the radio. Every time Niagara or UB plays, WGR is announcing what station they are on,then the next day they give their scores. They don't give the Griff score. Why, because those 2 are on 1 of their 3 stations.Always liked listening to the post game show on the way home. Now we can't even listen to that on GoGriffsGo. Bad decision. I remember becoming a Griff fan by listening to them on the radio.

D-3 then Buffalo kids going to school for free (zip code) will have a chance to play basketball in college and represent Canisius and Buffalo. It's coming.

I will never give Canisius another penny if they go D3. That would spit in the face of everyone who ever played any sport at Canisus. I would go crazy on anyone involved with such a stupid decision.

Hmm. There seems to be some "old farts" rising here. Could they be a significant group to get what's needed at KAC? How about many more "young farts" at CU MBB and WBB at KAC? What the he** happened at Canisius during Covid? Let's get going GRIFFS (that's "Farts" of all ages). Someone in THE POWERS THAT BE at CU want to jump in?
