Subject: Griffs Win 58-55

Did some nice things tonight. Pretty good job defensively against Blunt for most of the night although Lemelman did a number on them - especially in the first 30 minutes.

Kumu was really good. 16 points and a ton of energy and explosiveness. Ndjonga with 13 and 5 but turned it over 4 times. Still a good night. Wilmoth had 9 points and 3 boards in just 13 minutes. A bit confused as to why he doesn't play more. Mike E. and Singleton logged a lot of minutes - average production. Max played 19 minutes against his former team but didn't score.

Lastly, Javante Edwards played really well in 17 minutes of running the point, scoring 7 points and playing some really good on ball defense. Unfortunately, he went down with a knee injury at the end of the game and it honestly didn't look good. Would be an enormous blow. Let's hope for all of the best for Javante.

The Lakers capitalized on our turnovers. They scored 16 points off our 13 giveaways.

Yes. Javante's injury was terribly frightening. Let's all say prayers for his full recovery- the entire University. If you're not a prayer person,then best wishes. Fr. Betti, can you add a prayer at Mass today?

Marcus Niblack's return, whenever it happens, will greatly help with the execution of the offense and obviously helping take some of the pressure off of Edwards and Kumu.

We will take the win ,as we somehow survived 13 turnovers, 23% from 3 pt. land, and 57 % on free throws. We do have a lot to work on. Go Griffs.
