Seems like our disappointment after hoping for some marked improvement is coming out, I think we are better team with much better depth and I guess there is still some hope that our injured guard will provide something positive when (if) he is able to play, but last three games certainly disappointing, Bryan Nj has disappeared, Singleton is really just a three point shooter who is hot and cold it seems, Mike Ev , who we are lucky to have , is not a scorer, the Siena transfer center is giving us basically what he did in his prior stops, not bad but more of a reserve than a starter, the freshman will be good but are as most new players very inconsistent, not sure what story is with Benard, there is no one who can regularly drive to the hoop like McMillan did last year, so we have improved rebounding but defense still has questions and offense really haphazard with generally poor shooting, wish we had some better understanding of the entire recruiting process as it currently exists, is it all just nil dependent or are there other factors players actually consider, can we recruit better players or why don't we have access to better players, I wish there was some answers available to the faithful few followers left.

Benard has been out since suffering a concussion in practice before the UB game. I would expect him to be back for the upcoming road trip.

I don't know for sure. I was told they were shooting for the out of conference three game stretch. I would guess that means Maine or Duquesne.

I was also at the game Sunday. All comments in this thread are ones that I would concur with. Except for Mike EV, there was little offense especially from the outside. Ev is indicative of the importance of wide bodies, but, unfortunately, missed many sots inside.
It would have been nice if there were some plays to free Singleton on the outside. He took very few shots, most with the clock running out. He doesn't seem to be able to go to the basket very well.
Javante and Brendan look like some hope for the future. Brendan had a better game Friday night. The other bigs couldn't do much inside. Not a good sign. Prior to the last 2 games, I thought the Griffs could run somewhere in the middle of the MAAC standings.
Let's go Griffs.

I suspect we will fight it out with Niagara to avoid the basement in the MAAC.
