Hang in there. Yes it’s different. We have a good coach and some talented players. We are better this year. Maybe we can get even better next year and have a shot to make the dance in the Mediocre MAAC.

I completely empathize with the frustration, but this is all self-fulfilled: we don't have enough money, so we can't get the talent, so why bother?

Other schools, including our MAAC rivals and local rivals (namely Bona and to a lesser extent UB) have figured out that there is no number other than constantly aiming for more. While I concede that more NIL money doesn't guarantee wins (ask Bona about that), it's better than the alternative of rebuilding every year, hoping you cobble together enough talent, and then playing buy games (likely blow out losses) to cover the shortfalls.

D1 players need to make the open shots. We can’t keep missing layups & hesitating when you have a clean look. Christian was pissed after the game. He knew this loss sting. Hopefully it wakes them the heck up. Go Griffs!
