Subject: Scoring Woes Continue

22 points at the half and the leading scorer is the kid (Edwards with 9) who couldn't even get on the floor a week ago. Again the maddening missed 2 foot shots. Going to take a real effort in the second half to pull this one out.

We fought back but we once again missed too many layups. Why does everyone on this team try’s to jack 3’s? Terrible, wish we had more depth & contributions from our bench.

Better second half and had their chances down the stretch but it's really hard to win in the post peach basket era scoring 55 points.

Ten-thirty Saturday night. BG believes we're building a program. Start with the four Frosh, maybe a couple of Soph. Hope for a good incoming recruiting class. God bless the Juniors. Next season should be better. As for MAAC tourney, maybe, maybe not in 2006.

Fairfield: Another "Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda game". Close but---. Good attendance, 2,407 on what must have been a nasty weather night in CT., (at their beautiful field house). A bright spot for the Griffs future IMO, Javante is coming right along. The Box Score says he had a nicely balanced game. Another CU story on the Cansisus web site this AM.A Griff grad,Robert E. Reiner'86 who became Rev.Robert E. Reiner,S.J. has been appointed Provincial of the USA East Province. That's a big deal. Wonder if he could send CU (and CHS) a couple of additional Jesuits?
