Subject: Griffs win baseball opener @ Delaware

We take Game 1 of the weekend series 7-5. Watched it on ESPN+. Hens have a nice field.

Wish we could do something permanent at CU.

We don’t have enough practice fields. I wish the school would buy some of the land from the new owners of the Medaille campus. Land in Buffalo is cheap but the school is not willing to take on more debt. The Griffs need to invest in their athletics & facilities. Go Griffs!

If they moved the lacrosse/soccer field to the site of the old parking garage, they could do something permanent for baseball and softball at the current field.

Basketball, Baseball, and Softball are presently hurting because for several years there has been no money for improvements to their playing facilities. I was watching Softball at Marshall yesterday, and their facility is great compared to the Demske Center. This situation has got to be hurting recruiting. It's time to do something. Go Griffs!!!
