Who else is lining up behind him? The whole system stinks, and with March Madness coming to town! The fun is gone from college basketball, especially at the mid-major level. Once upon a time Canisius basketball drew thousands of fans just up the street from where the NCAA will be sucking in lots and lots of $$.

Not surprised, once he had 30 point games he was going to be a player in demand, assume he has an agent and most players seem to have one at this point, so with agents in their ears trying to get the biggest payday unless we have real NIL money we will not be able to retain most productive players, how long can this go on is totally unclear , probably until the power conferences totally destroy mid-major conferences and there is no choice but to reclassify to some sort of Div. 1AA or worse.

It sucks but if the Griffs want to compete they need to take a page out of the Siena playbook. Canisius needs to figure it out. Go Griffs!

If he can get a significantly better offer, I'd agree. But is he going to be the number 2 option at the next school with opportunities to score 30+ in a game? He likely could even be the #1 option next year if Ndjonga leaves.

Canisius junior guard Mike Evbagharu intends to enter the transfer portal, source told @TheFieldOf68.

The 6-4 guard averaged 9.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 2025-26. Also grabbed 1.2 steals.

Yeah I don't get it. The two I thought had the best chance of returning. Can't see either getting significant money but oh well. Guess we'll have 11 or 12 new guys again.

Significant money? Do you know how much Canisius’ NIL budget is?? These guys are already receiving interests from schools in and out of the MAAC upwards of 100k+ in NIL deals… Which is significantly more than what Canisius’ budget allows. These guys work their a$$es off and deserve to be compensated for it.

The mention of "significant money" was in reference to what other schools might offer. I could see Ndjonga being in the 100k neighborhood for the right school but find it real hard to believe that the other two will get that kind of money.

As a close figure to the team i can assure you these are the numbers being presented to the Boys and this is prior to the official transfer portal dates. Bryan and Singleton have very similar stats, wondering where your Basketball/NIL expertise comes from?? There are guys who have way less of an impact of their teams and making way more, they deserve to transfer. Jim only asked for those 3 to return… None would be wise to stay if they want to win.

Similar stats, different strengths, and Bryan is 6'9" and more athletic. Great. If it's all about the money, then they should leave. Let's see what their stats are next year.

I’m well aware of what you meant by significant money. The point you missed was, you implied they shouldn’t leave because they won’t get significant money elsewhere…However they are getting pennies at Canisius so making even a little money would be “Significant” for them.

Mrs Singleton? Lol why because I mentioned their similar stats? All three of the guys will make more money elsewhere. If you can’t have an adult conversation just say that. My point stands… there is NIL and the transfer portal for a reason, why try to knock down 2 guys to make a point about another? Makes no sense. And again Canisius won’t be a successful program without more money for the guys, hence why NCAA is forcing teams to have 400k min. for their programs.

No not at all because you mentioned similar stats. We are having an adult conversation. Hey you're either with us or against us. If you want to chase a few extra bucks, knock yourself out - but it's ludicrous to expect supporters of the school you are leaving to embrace it.
