We hated Scarborough last year but noticed they made big changes this year, not necessarily for the better. Not sure what you mean by moving dances from stage to stage or skipping them but what they did that was very unusual was have each age group/level do all of their dances back to back. The beginner parents loved it but for the more advanced dancers it meant no rest or recovery and if the dancer was in more than one level there would have been delays going to different stages. We also noticed one stage in particular that was in very bad shape and many dancers were slipping and falling. Big issue is the trophy dance presentations for all levels slowing the stages down. eg. Awards presentation for Adv. Beg. trophy was held up over an hour while they waited for a dancer who backed out of dancing at the last minute to decide if they would change their mind and dance. The dance was over! Get on with it. Why doesn't each feis committee look at which ones work well and just copy those stage assignments?
