"That," he growls softly, "Was a mistake." He drives his clenched fist with all his might into a place that the vast majority of males don't want to be struck. The rat's face fills with pain, but he can't do anything about the agony... nor about the second blow that hits in just the same spot. "Valeria, the rite starts now." Snatching a handkerchief from her handy little scrip, she furiously wipes as much of the vomit as is possible from her red fur, then throws it at Velenx for him to use and reaches for the knife.
