The door to the old dance hall starts to open with a protesting creak, then sticks fast. A few grunts resound on the other side of the door as the beast attempting to enter throws herself against it several times. Finally, it's forced open enough for the little albino hare to squeeze in.
Mattia stops and looks around the room sadly. Garbage litters the floor, many windows are broken, and everything of value has long since been stripped away. A layer of dust coats everything, leading the albino to believe the obvious.
No one has been here in ages.
Slowly, she trails a paw across one of the remaining tables and blinks back the tears from her eyes. Once, this place had been full of life and fun, day and night. Beasts from all walks of life gathered her. Fighting, drinking, dancing, but mostly fighting.
She remembered her many battles here, and her many friends. Were they all gone now? Were all her friends now like the dust that covered this room?
"I just can't seem to let go of this place," she whispers. "Too much of my life is here."
OOC: I checked this board on a whim, remembering all the good times I spent here from about 2000 on. I was horrified to see all the spam messages and garbage that had accumulated.
I went to the Admin Login page, without a single clue of what I used to use to log in. On another whim, I typed in a password.
It worked.
Maybe no one comes here anymore. I wouldn't blame them, but if they do, I've at least cleaned up the garbage. I'm leaving my email in this too, so if anyone wants to re-live some of the old days, just drop me a line. Especially if any of these old char names seem familiar to you.
