Hello everyone.

Maria, I loved your post! Lorraine is so right about your lovely thoughts. I must ask you, is the Christmas bread you speak of called, "Panettone", by chance? If so, we have that also, only we don't make our own. We buy it in a store (I know what you're thinking. "Shame on you." I'm certain that my mother turns over in her grave whenever we purchase such items that she would never have dreamed of buying in a store.)

When my mother was still living, she used to make Christmas cookies and some other goodies. By the way, Lorraine, I can very much relate to your feelings about Christmas. It used to be my favourite time of year. I always looked forward to it. However, since the passing of our mother in 2000, followed by my father's passing in 2001, try as we might, Christmas seems to have lost some glitter. Now, there just seems to be anger at times, and sadness, and it always somehow comes to a head at this time of year. It's very unfortunate.

Anyway, moving on. I like that letter that was written to that inconsiderate teacher. She should have known better how to deal with children that young. Children should be enjoying themselves at this point in their lives. Shame on that teacher. Maria, "Well done, woman!" Send George some of that Christmas bread. I'm sure he will remember you for it!

Well, I must go now. I'll be back once again tomorrow. All the best to everyone. Take care. Lorraine, I know how you're feeling. I'm thinking of you, hon.

Hugs and kisses to all.

Angel
