I just read this in The Planet Gossip Site on the E Online Gossip Website:
Is it really over for George Clooney and his on-again, off-again girlfriend of five years, Krista Allen?
Could be. I hear Allen, 35, has been quietly dating a 33-year-old actor-director-writer named Christopher Jaymes. I'm told they became friends about six months ago, after being introduced at a business meeting. Things turned romantic for them about four months later.
"They're inseparable," a pal of the lovebirds tells me. "It looks like Krista may be done with George." The pal says Jaymes is "practically living" with Allen.
While Clooney and Allen never went public with their relationship, things between the two got so serious that Allen and her son, Jake, even spent a summer living with Clooney at his famed estate on Lake Como in Italy.
Jaymes' most successful project was last year's In Memory of My Father, an independent dramedy that he wrote, directed and costarred in with Jeremy Sisto, Judy Greer and Monet Mazur, among others. Allen recently guest starred on the ABC comedy What About Brian.
Word of the new romance comes just as the current issue of Newsweek grills Clooney—whom People dubbed for the second time the Sexiest Man Alive—about his luck with the ladies.
When asked if he ever wakes up and thinks, I'm George Clooney, I can get any chick I want, Clooney laughed.
"Um, ah, no," he said, "because I also wake up, and my knees hurt, and I think, I'm 45."
He is so cute and unassuming. George you have to be the best looking 45 yeard old man I have ever seen.
