There's absolutely nothing to "forgive"--I for one love the way you write (I feel I can almost actually hear you talking, if you know what I mean); I understand you very well. I think your English-- the way you express yourself-- is charming.

Hey, but I want to ask you something, Lana. Not too long ago, you sort of took me to task over something we were talking about here--I forget now the exact context of the conversation. (the different winter/cultural customs..? Don't recall exactly now) Your response made me wonder since if I offended you...

I do a lot of joking around in these posts, and sometimes I forget that as I'm typing this stuff none of you can see my smile or hear the laugh in my voice, so it may not be clear that I'm only kidding when I tease people about whatever it is we're chatting about.

Anyway, all that to say that if I did offend you earlier Lana, I sincerely apologize. (Ditto to everyone else here at Casa de Clooney, by the way) We do occasionally speak seriously here... but for the most part our chats are that of far-flung acquaintances enjoying sharing a mutual passion (Namely, Gorgeous George C). What I write here is meant to make you all smile, not put anyone down.
