Thine eyes are not thy temptor,
nor hair of onyx-slate.
Thy body t'would be rapture
lover, wilt thou wait?
My will it seeks to shout exclaim
thy mouth it mustn't speak.
'Tis forbidden for my heart proclaim,
as nightly thee grows weak.
Thou art hearty as the oak
the knightly ways do sway,
