Ah, the calling is clearer now.
I shake my self and waken.
It is the calling of the Agarth Stone,
then it is Janora calling.
Janora the Fair, now Janora the Hag.
Still, it was Janora the Hag
who tended my deadly wound and
nursed me when hope was most gone.
And griffens never forget a debt.
She needs me!

I rouse, shake my wings into flight readiness,
my beak I sharpen on the ironstone,
my talons, too.
I raise my head and scream a challenge!
I smell dragon blood, and dragon lust!
To the battle then!

Jax springs from the crest of the crag
wherein his cave is hidden and
circles until he feels the call of
the Agarth stone.
He heads west by north into the
valley where lies those within the Wretched State.
Dragon be ware! The battle griffen is loosed!
