Within the forest
I found a hovel,
deserted but for
field mice who
had claimed it for
their own.
I concentrated
and held the Agarth Stone
in both hands.
Jax must hear me!!
I had been about
to stop and try again,
when the stone grew warm.
I felt the essence of
the mighty warrior griffen.
He comes!

I have done all I can.

Now, I must see to
my own safety!
Tanzara will
not always be
so kind-hearted!
And, should Triarcanth
regained his head....
With the missing head
he will know who aided
Sir Dragzfuth in the
taking!

Where? where will I be safe?

With a shudder,
I realize there is no safety!
Then, I must do what must be done.
I will seek the cottage
of the woodcutter and his wife,
the common parents of Lady Dolomite,
and, where she rests.
(Where else would she be?)

The bracken grows close
in this gloom and dark,
it will not be easy for
this old woman to
find her way, but,
no journey starts until
the first step is taken.
So, I go.
