Subject: Tanzara's Surprise

"I haven't the strength left to take
my previous form of Mirrabelle."
Surveying the chamber in disappointment.
"Surely, I would not go unnoticed in
the hallways of this castle and I am much
too weak for battle." I thought wearily.

"Careless fool!" I cursed, sorry now, for
not thinking in advance, remembering
I would need my full strength for another
transformation "and a dragon is far from
invincible!"

"Must think, what to do" closing my eyes
just for a moment...

"...quite sure...word of...my presence....
has been" shaking my head to clear it "soon
they will come..." I moved painfully to find
comfort in the tiny space. In doing so my tail
twitched involuntarily knocking the candelabra
on the stone wall to one side "scraaaaaaachh!!"
I heard the grating of stone on stone and opened
my eyes, gratefully, to a hidden passage as if
in answer to my weary thoughts.

"I must get into the passage, t'wil be safer
then in the open" I moved slowly toward the
opening. I barely squeezed my massive body
through the doorway. Running my tail along
the lengths of the darkened walls inside, I
found another switch and the stone door closed
slowly behind me.

"This will buy me time, but this chamber belongs
to Tillanova and she will know of this passage.
I have no time to rest, I must keep moving..."
