I read your message of where you work and I have to tell you my story, since in high school I went to Cosmotology school.(it was a votech program) That is where I met my friend (Pam are you out there!) and we would work on our manikins doing their hair and talk about Steve Perry. She was the one that I went with to Journeys concert in 1981.
we also dreamt of opening a salon but neither of us did pursue it. I still cut my husbands hair and kids..but The study of anatomy led me to nursing school and that worked out for me.
that is so great that you are foster parents. my niece was adopted and she was in foster care for 3 months and it is an important job while the adoptive people are waiting.
How was the women of faith conference? was this one the one sponsered by focus on the family or someone else?
