Very happy to hear he's a book reader..
I'm a bookworm, so this question is right up my alley.
Loved, and still love the "Little House" books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Boy, did I want to be a little Praire girl! Had a bonnet and everything! Laura was born in 1867 and I was born in 1967 so I always felt a special bond because of that! She was a very great lady.
Oh, and Nancy Drew, Trixie Belden, Cherry Ames, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. (I love submarines and the ocean.)
Little Women, Black Beauty, oooh, so many!!
Great question Pat!
