I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their overwhelming show of support both privately and publicly during recent events that have occurred, and in doing so you have so generously reminded me why I started this in the first place. Your actions on my behalf humble me, and I just wanted to let you know that from the bottom of my heart how much I appreciate it. I have said it time and again, that I have never met a finer group of people than those who gather here.. your consistent actions and integrity say more for you than I ever could while negating any argument to the contrary.

As it was said here, and I’d like to reiterate, I am not the subject of this board.. so please forgive this indulgent post. However, something needed to be said, and because I wasn’t saying it good hearts stepped up.. a burden that should not have been yours. I created this site because I did not find a place out there that I was comfortable with, and it is no better or worse than any other’s that are out there, or anything you could create yourself. I cannot, nor will not, defend myself, my guidelines, my practices, or my friends anymore, these are simply what work for me and compliment who I am as a fan and a person. That being said, I would like to further ask that we not assign a personality to others (myself included) and then react to that assignment, and in doing so call anyone out (myself included) and/or send threatening, attacking and harassing e-mails to others or myself. Doing so is illegal, but in addition it is an action that is disproportionate to any grievance that should ever relate to a little fan site.

I don’t know if I have addressed this in a way that communicates fully how I feel. I would like to ask that you not comment to this post.. but rather, e-mail me privately if necessary - but if given the choice I would like to suggest that we get back to the business at hand.. celebrating Steve Perry’s music.
