A former co-worker came in to work the other day and she is having the surgery in January. She's 33 (a bad car accident 10 years ago damaged her hip) and just can't take the pain anymore. She had a booklet on her about the surgery and the booklet scared me. But the doctors have tried everything on her to avoid the operation. She finally told them enough was enough. Anyway, she'll be out of work 6-8 weeks, they get you up right away apparently but start you out on a walker, then crutches, then a cane. All in all, a very long, painful process. I'm just glad it's over for him and he has made a full recovery. None of us want to see him in that kind of pain. As for the band, well I believe everything happens for a reason. He just wasn't meant to tour then, they were meant to move on. It will all work out the way it's supposed to.
