I have to agree with your sentiments! I think that there are many of us who just have to look into his eyes for him to help unravel the confusion and bring better understanding of this tragedy in our lives. From the very depth of his soul he speaks to us; we hear it in the lyrics of his songs; we hear it when he speaks and experiences it when he sings. He is able to make the connection to the hearts of the fans with the amazing way in which he is able to bring to life those songs he sings. I do not believe that anyone who has been fortunate enough to have seen him sing was able to walk away without feeling that he had just allowed them to come into his inner most sanctum and witness his secrets of love, heartache and pain. There are those that wear their feelings on their sleeves, he wears it in his eyes, and we hear it in his voice when he reflects on the many different ways in which we feel. He is really no different than many of us; yet he has the ability to reach thousands of people and put into words the entire spectrum of feelings. It through his eyes, in his spirit and with these feelings he exposes us to the world in which we live.
He is the guide of the road less traveled; the decipherer of mysteries and puzzles of life; he is the balladeer of our heart songs and to some the artist of the landscapes of our lives. I am sure that he will not only express words
that will help to heal our pain, mend our wounded spirit but will galvanize our strength, our courage and the wisdom of
the American people when we most need it. To hear words in the form of a statement or a song; would be a true gift to all of us.
