Subject: 1983 Frontiers and Beyond

Hi everyone... My name is Katie and this is the first time I have posted a message on this. Don't know if you have to sign up for this or not, but I couldn't wait.

I love Steve Perry, as everyone on this board does. I just got done watching the 1983 Frontiers & Beyond Concert and once again I was captivated by Steve. In watching however, it reminded me of the VH1 special where Steve says that he never felt part of the band. After watching this video again it seems somewhat obvious. It's almost as if there was a band called Journey and then the best singer in the world (Steve Perry) and they came together for a while and made beautiful music. But, they were never really one. Anyone agree?

Anyway, it sure was good to see Steve, and I love when he talks about hanging out with the roadies to keep himself from "getting all puffed up". I'm only 27 so I missed him the first time around... I'm in the process of collecting all things Steve Perry.

Katie
