I completely agree. I was at a restaurant eating the first time I heard "When You Love A Woman". I instantly thought that Steve had released a new album, then I heard the guitar track and I knew it was Neal. I don't know how I knew I just did. I was with my Husband who thinks I'm rediculous when it comes to Steve so I just barely mentioned it to him. But inside I was so excited! The album is great. I truly savored every note. It had been so long and so needed. They play so well together and this cd is living proof. Even if the band were to call Steve and ask him back, I don't think it would be the same unless they asked Steve Smith back too. The chemistry between the 5 is amazing. This is the Journey I love. I am so thankful that they were able to do this album, and to do it so well. You can tell they appreciated each other as well and that is why I think they did it. For themselves. They are very talented men who for quite awhile were as close as brothers, it had to feel good to see each other and just play to play. Like you say it was a bit different but then so are they and their maturity shows. Let's pray that there is another one in the future.
