Yeah... I know Steve wouldn't do it unless he was asked by Michael, but I thought "maybe we could do something as Steve's fans and let someone know about our idea". I know that it would be a long shot, but it would be cool to let Michael know that as Steve's fans, we would be so grateful (but we also would have to find out if Steve would even consider the idea, although it's for such a worthy cause).

I also thought about it and it's not just about the young chart topping people... it could be a variety of singers (because if I think back, there were some other singers back in '85 that were older, etc.)... Also, this could be a different approach since we want him back on the charts and this would be an interesting opportunity for that... I guess I just saw this as an opportunity to give someone the idea on how badly we want Steve back, etc.
