Subject: Steve Perry

Everytime I hear the music and everytime I see one of the videos, I'm reminded just how much I love to hear Steve Perry sing. He is absolutely fabulous!! Doesn't it mean anything to people when countless rock stars say that Steve's voice is one of the best, if not the best voice in rock & roll history?? It is the most recognizable, without a doubt, and that simply can not be ignored. I sing and I'm sure most of us have aspired to sing at some point in our lives, but to sing just to sing is not singing. Singing because it is part of your being and nature is singing and that is exactly what Steve Perry does each and every time he has gotten up on that stage and performed. No matter what the band Journey does or where it goes, it will NEVER be Journey without Steve. The look alike, aside from all the showiness, does not even come close to comparing with Steve Perry and even though the band may think it's "getting in" close with the fans with Augeri, they're wrong. Steve if you're out there and reading ... remember, "Often imitated, never copied" ... we remember!!
