Hi Martina!

It is so nice to hear from you. I hope you had a great time on your vacation.
Yes, it seems like more German fans are finding this messageboard, as far as I know we have four girls from Germany here now.
My nephew's fiancee's Dad is an American and he's been living in Germany a long time, her Mom is German, so she speaks both languages.
I've been living in Mississipi since Sept. 1983, and the reason I'm here is my husband, who was in the Army in Neckarsulm. When his Tour of Duty was over he went back to the states, and I followed him a few months later, and we got married here.

Did you read the letter I wrote you a few weeks ago? It's in archives now.
I've been a fan of Journey and Steve Perry since the early 80's too, the first song I heard from them was "Lights" I believe and I just fell in Love with that Voice. I haven't had the chance to see them in concert either.
I bought the new Arrival CD too, but to me it doesn't sound like Journey. That new singer Steve Augeri might sound a little like Steve Perry when he sings the old songs, but on Arrival he sounds totally different. I bought the Greatest Hits Live CD about a week or so ago, and I love it. I especially love the way Steve Perry did "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'."
My favorite song from Steve right now is "I Stand Alone" from his Greatest Hits & 5 Album.
No, I don't know any of the solo CD's of the other bandmembers of Journey, but if Steve doesn't sing on them I wouldn't buy them anyway, I just want to hear HIS voice. I don't care much for those guys anyway, for the way they treated Steve.

Ich muss jezt auch Schluss machen, ich verbringe viel zu viel Zeit am Computer haha.
Viele Gruesse aus Mississippi,
Karin
