Thought it was interesting esp. w. release coming...

Some of you may have seen this, is part of a posting
from the VH1 Journey board. Curious about the last show
bit.....was this a mistake? Has the band changed its mind,
got sick of it all, and is just throwing in the towel? Or is it the end of a tour? I AM NOT trying to start any rumors, just thought it was odd to end a tour with a release upcoming. Or maybe it's a good time because the release will keep you in peoples' minds if you are not touring. or maybe the person didn't hear correctly. There was more to the post (this person is obviously a Perry fan!!!) - can read it all on VH1 (some Schon bashing there) - but I have to agree the shine ain't there without Perry.......

This "band" played at the NY State Fair on Sunday night...5,918 seats were sold....in a venue that seats nearly 20,000....

Augeri announced that it would be the "band's" last concert...even though there are seemingly two more State Fair dates to play....

Derogatory comments were heard..Augeri could not hit the high notes on many of Perry's signature songs....
