You make them care Sherry P, go out there and sing as if you were in front of 90,000 screaming fans that love you!!!
I"m sure Steve went through these kinds of gigs before he and Journey hit it "Big". You just sing cause you love it and tune out the crowd. If you've got talent someone will notice and that's what counts. One person starts passing on the word. Good Luck and try to just enjoy yourself!!! Be on the look out for that one person.
