I don't know but he does seem to inspire extremes of emotion. To some he is a savior of the heart, shining a beautiful glorious light on parts of our feelings that have been hidden in the dark. Other's spit venomous hatred as if he were some evil creature that has darkened the earth in a black cloud. I don't know why. Perhaps Steve just is like a mirror that reflects the inner feelings of those that look upon him. Those that see the beauty have beauty in themselves. Those that see the ugly have no one to blame but themselves.
