I WENT TO THE JOURNEY CONCERT IN 7/01 AT THE JONES BEACH THEATER. WE SAW JOHN WAITE AND PETER FRAMPTON -THEY WERE EXCELLENT. JOURNEY WAS THE MAIN ATTRACTION. I ONLY WENT OUT OF CURIOSITY. I THOUGHT THIS NEW GUY STEVE AUGIERI WOULD STAND UP TO STEVE PERRY'S TALENTS. GOD WAS I WRONG! THIS GUY WAS O.K. BUT COULDN'T HIT ALOT OF THE HIGH NOTES. HIS MIKE WAS NOT LOUD ENOUGH AND ALTHOUGH HE WAS CUTE HE CAN'T HOLD A CANDLE TO STEVE'S LOOKS OR TALENT. SANDY F.
