* I've been on point for about two years and i have that the best way to break in pointe shoes is by walking around in them in your house. If you have stairs those work GREAT!!! walk up and down them FLATFOOTED (don't try to do it on point...i've tried....yikes) but let your heels hang off the edge while so that just the box is on the stair...hope that helps kacie
