Ah you see, now i can prove you wrong where others havent. Having also been at the gig, i can confirm Hilltop also had prolonged moments of feedback. Fair enough, the songs weren't stopped but it was there. Having spoken to members of the band, they knew that something was wrong but shrugged it off saying shit happens. As for many of the rest of manchesters venues, they have their own equipment set up and ready to go. At the Hard Rock (not one of manchesters well known live music venues) The PA was set up from scratch at 10:30 and was expected to bee finished by 12:00. I think you will agree that this is ridiculous. 'Hilltop angling to go on last'? Hmm, this is obviously a one sided argument and you havent bothered to get the other side. If you had paid any attention, Hilltop wanted to go on second because they hadnt had a sound check and Karma's levels were all ready and set up. If Hilltop were to go on first, all the work previously done would have to be scrapped. It was and, despite what you say, Hilltop did do a small sound check before they started playing. This made the whole thing look very unprofessional for everyone concerned. It was not Hilltop being big headed and wanting to go on second, they were looking out for everyones best interests but i suppose you can never see the good in people can you? Another thing, do you actually speak to the band? Your comments appear to show that you don't. I have spoken to several members of the band and members of the audience about the sound at the first HRC gig and they claimed that it was utter shite.

Now i dont want to start a whole Karma and Hilltop argument again as i know for a fact that none of the band members are actually being petty and chiuldish about this as the webmaster is. It may have been a joke but when somebody takes the piss out of Karma or Hilltop its not seen as a joke. Its taken very seriously and personally and the soundman will probably feel the same. It is 'jokes'like this that started the original arguments. All in all, this is an extremely well made web site for an extremely good band. All i can say is, stop wasting your time making pathetic jokes about people who are trying to help you and get on with trying to make Karma one of the best bands in Manchester.
