I know what you mean about the shadow. I rendered the first scene with shadow's turned on (which took 7 hours to do, and had to render it again to get the alpha mask), and they were no where to be seen, so I didn't bother for the second scene which rendered in two minutes :-D

Actually I was thinking about putting a relfection of him since the table is slightly reflective. I do have limited patience for each project I do, and given several hic-ups with this one, I was just desperate to put it to bed. Kind of a bad trait for this sort of work huh?
