We can all name bands that we're into that no one else on this board will have heard of, but it doesn't make you a better or more worthy music fan as a result. How many Mundy fanatics other than myself have we in the room? Exactly. The sad fact is that, when asked to state what you're listening to or what your all-time favourite albums are, many people list everything in their record collection that could possibly be called 'obscure' in a desperate bid to seem more 'hardcore' or 'underground'. Fuck it, a record can be great whether you're the only one into them or whether they're the biggest band in the world.

But to fit in with this topic, I shall now make up a band and pretend I like them.

So yeah, Feeding Communists To Sharks are this Swedish band, none of you will have heard of them because they've only ever released one copy of the one record they made 40 years ago and I happen to own it. This, of course, makes me 90% of a better music fan than the rest of you, and about 78 litres more underground.

End transmission.
