Speeding towards the edge of the jungle, Laffranth pulls a sudden hard right just before she reaches the trees, skimming along the very edge. The treeline curves out in front of her, and she feints, pretending she's about to follow it, then pulls up so hard she nearly stalls and reaches for the sky. Even with the energy of the flight she can dimly feel the strain on her wingmuscles as she arrows almost straight up, but the ache is distant and at a remove, unimportant next to the driving lust that surges through her veins. It seems that Kadoth will be the only male to follow, so she'll have to make him work extra hard to prove his worth. Passing the bronze, Laffranth pumps her wings harder, surging higher as quickly as she can in an effort to stay ahead of him. A few dragonlengths short of the overhanging ceiling of clouds, the green levels out, powerful wingbeats carrying her in a straight, swift course across the sky.
