Quilth and T'bel, rising duality, springs from the ground without hesitation, curved haunches taut in stretch upo the instant that Whoth's mind touched his own. Pale bronze wings still shimmering from oceanic spray dramatically caress the sky, each stroke deliberate in the gaining of altitude and speed. Two faceted eyes, green in the emotion of desire and the human spirit they continued to encompass, began to fluctuate as the temperature dropped in the rising sky. The yellow of previously unvoiced concern for failure swirled into a deep crimson of ravaging lust, the two ocular pigments battling for a few moments before the stalemate of loving necessity, a golden orange, was peaceably agreed to: It matched the wonderous sight that had to be shown that Quilth was worthy of her perfection.

A melodious trumpet of longing echoes from the bronze's maw as he dips one wing to the side, then curls it tightly against his frame. His body slows only slightly as the lengthy bronze body is deftly maneuvered into a well-controlled barrel roll. Such an attempt of proffered skill might not be possible later on in the flight, when more of the massive contenders gained in upon his current position, and feats of strength and speed proved to rise as the more pressing of matters. But, for now, he could afford the dexterious offers of ability to the glorious Golden Shrineth.

His rider, still physically on the ground below, pulls away slightly from the draconic mentality once he recognizes Quilth's successful take-off. His lifemate would need him more later on, and the choices of flips and dives were not T'bel's to make. Instead, the mildly blurred grey-green eyes flick back to Wessae, the sun-worn face of 35 turns grimacing once at the intensity of her expression, and recollection of flights long past. He recalled flights from his pre-Impression childhood where Queen riders had lost consciousness due to the utter fury of their lifemate. A wry grin creased the side of his mouth at the sudden internal trust that Weyrwoman Wessae was far too strong to give in to human frailty, though, and here the smile faded, he still didn't want her to have to hold out for too long of a period.

The old Aunties told of how a long flight delivered a large clutch, and Quilth was old enough to know better then to even attempt to unlikely chance of ending it quickly. Still, neither Dragon nor Bronzerider had any intention of letting it drag on to the risk of Weyrwoman or Queen.

A thick baritone vocalization ripples smoothly from the agile bronze once again, his call a wordless but tender offer of all the things he would do just to know her magnificence for an instant.

T'bel's mind returns to his lifemate's vision, and together they soar after the Golden rising star.
