Subject: Ooof. That is all I can say.
In reply to: Rishanath and Elaini 's message, "Hm..." on 08:34:20 01/27/04 Tue

As Rishanath veered west, Garneth’s wide wings bore him after her. Up and down, up and down, he moved them effortlessly through the air, ignoring the resistance that they met when they touched on currents and drag breezes. They moved, one swift, powerful twist, and he had turned right over in the cool air. The somersault filled him with elation, and he was wrapped in the knowledge that he was a beast of the air, and that he could do anything!
His tail followed his head as he performed a series of graceful loops and wheels in the sky, and his long neck snaked gracefully towards her. With another controlled beat of his shimmering pinions, he had done a full twisting spiral, and he pulled out of it at the right point to shoot up again, full of power. It has to be said that backward flying didn’t come naturally to him. The purpose of flying is, after all, to go forward. But he managed to sweep his batlike wings in the opposite direction, and fly backwards a good distance.
He turned over, and glided on his back, happiness filling him as the warm sun bathed his gilded hide momentarily. Another bugle escaped his mouth, but this one was gentle, enticing, as opposed to harsh and challenging. I love you. I always will. If there is anyway I can show you, I will try it.
But he remembered that it wasn’t telling she wanted, but showing! He was at once filled with fury, fury he could use. All the energy in his massive frame went into his acrobatic movements as he swooped towards and away from her. He wasn’t flying any more, he didn’t need to. He was the air, the sky, the wind, a glittering mirage that dipped teasingly towards Her, Her who he loved. She alone was the goal of this wind, and it was She whom he would die trying to catch. Now that he had reached this state, the joy of flight had fully immersed him, and he was fully unbeatable.
No one can tell what possessed him in those moments. It was a trance, and he could never escape it. At least that was what it felt like. But he could break the trance. He could leave the state that he was in, and he would have to, or risk loosing Her forever. He moved again, closer this time, and he was right along side her, his wingtip just touching hers.
W’ntyr was filled with Garneth. They were one, dancing and moving through the skies as they fought to catch her, Elaini, the only one who could ever be loved by W’ntyr. He reached out his hand to touch hers, as the bronze dragon did with Elaini. Nothing could stop him now. Only her choice could bring an end to this barrage of emotions…

((OOC. Please choose? All my creative juices have been poured into this sharding post, and I need new material! Hmm…has a dragon ever gone between if he wasn’t chosen? I must find out…))
