Love, my wings tire... Garneth murmured. It was breaking his heart, but this was too much. I cannot fly more... He told her, his eyes sad, whirling dark colours. He took the down, one last moment of hot, flooding passion, and then released her gently. The love, the love that he had felt during the flight still lingered. He loved her more now, if that was possible, and, even though they were apart, they were held together, forever.

As for W'ntyr, the flight was over, but the love remained. Just as Garneth, now on a rock, curled protectively around his mate, so the man fuly wrapped his arms around his love. Their lips met, as they had done countless times, and he was filled with a tingle, a prickle. All the raging emotions had settled to form one: Pure Love.
